Honestly here's my take on it,
defective lenses are BOUND to happen and as a circle lens user,
i honestly think that the bottom line of a business is CUSTOMER SERVICE
if you haven't read hysteric mint's how defective circle lenses damaged my eyes
go read it.
Looking at the attitude she had to face from the companies,
like what the fuck is that?
she's sucking it up and didn't even take action till it was at its absolute worst.
she even provided all the info, the pictures, the notes from CERTIFIED doctors.
and that is considered insufficient and they are only giving 500$ for compensation.
what the fuck are you going to do with 500$?
her losses are over 10k, what's 500 going to do for her?
AND honestly these companies have no sympathy at all.
i swear they are the companies that don't give a crap about if they fuck up people's lives.
as long as they get their money.
i've had bad experiences with defective lenses before,
but not as bad as this.
it's disgusting seeing how the companies are pointing fingers at each other,
then finally blaming the victim for allegedly making "a string of excuses".
they were the ones who were asking for all the medical notes and everything.
she provided pages and pages of them.
you can basically guess who the companies are,
and i've bought a pair from the manufacturer before,
and i actually thought it was faulty/defective because the lens itself
was a hard ass plastic, back in 2010.
at first i thought it was fake however i verified it to be real...
but with that type of quality lens? lol i'm not buying any lens from that manufacturer.
only brands i would stick to will be GEO & EOS.
